Various information which might help if you have an unsubtitled copy of the film. With these files you should be able (if you have the technology) to watch the Japanese DVD on your PC with added subtitles, or (if you're lo-tech like me) to print the script out + get the gist!back to the Angel's Egg page
- angelscript.txt - English readable script - translated Angel's Egg script to aid in viewing unsubtitled versions. There's not much dialogue, so it's quite short to print and fairly easy to follow while watching the film.
- angelseggspanish.ssa - Spansh subtitle script - Script translated (from the English subs) into Spanish by a generous visitor to this site. In .ssa (Sub Station Alpha) format.
- angels_egg.zip (link fixed!) - English and Japanese subtitle scripts - "This archive contains script files in both the Eva XML format and in plain text formats (UTF-8 encoded). Both English and Japanese versions of the script are available. (The Eva format contains both languages in a single XML file." - Pretty comprehensive stuff from the fine instrumentality.org script archive. Visit their site for info on the subtitling software needed etc.
